Glamour celebrated its Women of the Year Awards by honoring eight incredible trailblazers who are not only at the top of their fields, but who are also working diligently to pave the way for others who follow.

Now in their 25th year, the Awards this year were given to:

Victoria Beckham, the Spice-Girl-turned-fashion-designer, whose deep commitment to fighting AIDS has raised awareness and more than $4m in charitable funds.

Misty Copeland, the first African American ballerina to be promoted to principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre.

Nadine Collier, Polly Sheppard, Alana Simmons, Felicia Sanders, and Bethane Middleton-Brown—otherwise known as Charleston Strong—the peacemakers who paved the way to forgiveness after the massacre at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.

Elizabeth Holmes, the youngest self-made female billionaire in the world, who is transforming healthcare with new technology.

Caitlyn Jenner, who has relentlessly advocated for trans and gender-nonconforming Americans through her own public transition.

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, who fights daily for quality healthcare and rights for women.

The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, whose 23 players not only dominated on the field, but have made great strides for women athletes; and our own #GirlBoss.

Goldie Hawn, a longtime fan, friend, and mentor of Reese’s, recalled Reese’s tenacity from day one and her drive to create opportunities for women protagonists and writers in film.

“She’s on a mission to change; she has a lot of fortitude; she wants to change Hollywood, but most importantly, I think she wants to be there to change ideas for women. It’s important that we have movies we can look at and say, ‘that’s me, I can do that, I can be that.'”

Just three years in, Reese’s production company, Pacific Standard, has garnered three Oscar nominations for women and banked more than $400 million worldwide at the box office.

“I believe ambition is not a dirty word,” Reese said in her acceptance speech. “What if we were all brave enough to believe in our own abilities? I think the world would change.”
