“I am so excited about all the new female artists in Country music. There are some incredible songs and messages coming from this group of women,” says Sarahbeth Taite. We couldn’t agree more. In fact, we’d count the up-and-coming singer/songwriter herself as among our ones-to-watch.
Taite, who was born in Colorado but moved to Music City at 17 to kick off her music career, stopped by the Draper James Nashville boutique to shop for what-to-wear to some upcoming performances.
Tell us about shopping the Draper James store.
It was a dream—mostly because they handed me a glass of sweet tea right when I walked in. Everybody is so kind and helpful.
Where did you wear your new Draper James?
I had two gigs in the same night. First I played at Acme, and then I went straight to a live-streaming studio concert at Aurora Studios. I wore the Roxanne Button Down paired with a necklace and my high-heeled suede boots—perfect for fall.
Besides shopping at the Draper James store (!) what are your favorite things to do in Nashville during your “off” hours?
It’s hard to get bored in Nashville. Some of my favorite restaurants are Taco Mamacita on Music Row, and Edley’s in 12 South. I’m a regular at the Well Coffeehouse, and my absolute favorite venue to see live music is the historic Ryman Auditorium.
