Our Draper James boutique in Dallas officially opened last week, and we celebrated the only way we know how: in over-the-top Texas fashion with four one-of-a-kind fetes. See pics from each below.
1. FEED Supper
Draper James partnered with the FEED Foundation to host a FEED Supper, a dinner where each guest makes a donation to provide meals to children and families in need. It was hosted by Highland Park Village co-owners Ray and Heather Washburne and Stephen and Elissa Summers at the Washburnes’ home. Guests included FEED Projects founder Lauren Bush Lauren, Jenna Bush Hager (see our post with Jenna and sister Barbara here), lifestyle expert Kimberly Whitman, Bag Snob blogger Tina Craig, and more of our amazing Dallas Ambassadors.
2. Blogger Brunch and Ambassador Sip ‘n See
Texas bloggers joined Reese in the store for “Biscuits and Bellinis”—not to mention shopping! Later that same day, our Draper James Dallas Ambassadors (local friends and fans, including many of Reese’s best pals) came by for more of the same.
3. Girls Inc. Dallas Event
As part of our partnership with the nonprofit Girls Inc. to increase financial literacy among young women, Reese spoke with participants in the Economic Literacy program in Dallas. She answered questions about budgeting, saving, applying for jobs, interviewing, and more.
4. Store Opening Party
400 of our closest friends gathered together under one tent in Highland Park Village, where our store is located. They were treated to a musical performance by singer/songwriters Jessi Alexander and Jon Randall, a 360 photobooth by Samsung, and cocktails by Casamigos and Chandon.
