Nashville-based blogger Brooke Webb can make any trend her own, from pattern mixing (how cute is this floral-and-camo combo?) to embroidered blazers. The mom of two loved our take on a printed rain jacket, and we loved how she styled it for any sort of spring weather.
What drew you to the Draper James Meadow Garden Rain Jacket and Cute as a Button Sweatshirt?
These pieces are perfect for weekend wear. I love that I can wear them to the park with my children and also wear them to brunch with my girlfriends.
Printed outerwear (like this raincoat) can feel intimidating. How do you approach styling it?
I love a bold print. If I wear a printed jacket, I typically keep the other pieces in my look simple. A solid, like this adorable short sleeve sweatshirt, is the perfect complement and ties the look together.
Where did you shoot these images?
Right outside of a park that my family and I visit regularly on the weekends.
Any tips for looking cute in the rain?
On a rainy day, you want to keep your look polished, yet simple. Wear something that is no fuss and that is comfortable to get around in. A great raincoat is essential for a rainy day—both for practical reasons and for style.
Favorite thing about the South in the spring?
There are so many fun spring festivals that take place around Nashville and Franklin. Steeplechase is also the perfect way to celebrate spring!
