There’s nothing like a dapper dad and his “mini me” on Father’s Day. Case in point: Austin Dandridge and his son, Hill, who can be seen here sporting our Draper James bow ties, created in partnership with Collared Greens. Based in Charleston, Austin is the Owner and Creative Director of web design firm Cobble Hill, and Hill is just as cute as he can be at the sweet age of three.
How do you define Southern style (for gentlemen)?
The south is hot, so our style reflects that. From light colors to lightweight fabrics, Southern men find ways to look good in the heat. No sweat.
How do you (and your mini me) like to rock a bow tie?
Hill likes to dress like “Dada,” so a bowtie is a cute and stylish way for us to match on dressier occasions. His is a clip-on; mine requires a few Youtube videos to achieve that perfect knot.
Describe your perfect Father’s Day.
My two favorite things are surfing and spending time with my family, so my ideal Father’s Day is time at the beach together—my kids, my hot wife, and the waves. Doesn’t get much better than that.
