Five Ways to Embellish Our Gifts on the Cheap

Here are five ways to make our gifts extra merry just by adding a few simple drugstore finds.

1. Stuff our silver bowls with candy canes for a present that’s at once sophisticated and sweet.

2. Take one of our journals (they come as a set of three), write a note on the first page (or even better, have your child draw a picture), and wrap it up with a holiday-themed pencil or pen—the perfect teacher’s gift.

3. Make two gifts out of one by separating our mug set, filling each mug with Christmas candy, and wrapping them separately with cellophane.

4. You’ll have to venture beyond Walgreen’s for this one, but you can still do it on the cheap: Get four bottles of wine (there are plenty of great options for under $12 each), and wrap each one resting atop one of our coasters from our set of four. Cheers, y’all!

5. As holiday party season winds down, be the guest who blossoms until the final carol is sung by showing up with a hostess gift that doubles as table décor—our mint julep cup, put to work as a vase, with a seasonal floral bouquet inside.
