Tell us about how you chose to style this look.
I decided to pair the dress with simple yet festive pieces. The black jeweled-neck cape coat does a great job of complementing the dress. I also used my embellish sandals to emphasize the overall festive look of the outfit. Lastly I decided to add some interest to the outfit by pairing it with my white bag.
What drew you to the dress and coat?
Red is the color of the season, hence I fell in love with the beautiful hue. I’m also a major fan of lace, consequently the lace material sealed the deal. The beautiful jeweled neckline of the cape coat was the deciding factor in terms of selecting the coat.

My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family over food.
What’s the most important thing someone should know about styling a holiday party look?
The most important thing to note while styling a holiday look is to focus on one key item and make sure that it is festive. Use other pieces that are not as flamboyant as the selected item to compliments the selected piece.

What trend are you loving this holiday season?
There are so many trends that I love this holiday season, however I would have to say that red might be my favorite, as I have featured so many outfits in this beautiful hue this season.
