#GoYall: The Ultimate Tailgate Style with Palm Beach Lately

Game day and tailgate style has to be three things: spirited, comfortable, and stylish.

Beth and Danielle of the blog Palm Beach Lately are die-hard University of Florida fans, so you know they bleed orange and blue. We knew their game day style would be spirited.

They’re also the queens of coordinating outfits (remember their Draper James blog post on Best Friends Day?), so it was guaranteed their tailgate looks would be comfortable and stylish.

Keep reading to learn more about how the ladies behind Palm Beach Lately celebrate football season.

Danielle, left, and Beth, right, styled our Spirit Polos, Spirit Sweaters, and Cool It Y’all Totes.

Why did you choose to style these colors?

Danielle: We both graduated from the University of Florida (go Gators!), so we are all about orange and blue. We were also cheerleaders in high school, and Beth was a UF cheerleader, so we thought it would be fun to do a throwback to our cheering days!

Beth: When we saw Draper James came out with new game day styles, we were so excited to see all of the cute pieces in orange and blue! We especially love the sporty polos and vintage-like sweaters. They look adorable with these white pleated skirts and tennies!

What’s your favorite part of a tailgate?

Danielle: Our favorite part of a tailgate is catching up with old friends who are like family. Friendly rivalries are fun, too, and our favorite game of the year is UF vs. FSU, which always falls on Thanksgiving weekend!

Beth: We also enjoy the cooler fall weather, good food, and playing country tunes on game days. It’s a season of savoring slower Saturdays, teamwork (on and off the field), and friendship!

Do you have any fun plans for tailgating this year?

Beth: This year, we are hoping to take our munchkins to Gainesville for their first game day experience. We can’t wait to take pics of our little girls in Gator cheerleading outfits at the stadium!

Danielle: My husband and I were college sweethearts, so it will be really special for us to show our kids around some of our old favorites like campus, the stadium, The Swamp, and a little house I had rented with friends off of University!

Describe tailgate season in 3 words.

Beth and Danielle: Football, friends, and food!

When it comes to dressing for a tailgate or football game, what’s the most important thing to remember?

Beth: Here in Florida, the weather changes in a blink, so having warmer and cooler game day outfits is a must. One of the reasons we love this polo and sweater combo is it’s perfect for layering on cooler game days that will warm up!

Danielle: We also love a fashionable twist on classic game day attire. Our college days are sadly behind us, so we now like a chic spin on our team colors; and Draper James nailed it!

What would we be able to find in your Cool It Y’all Tote at a tailgate?

Beth: Definitely rosé on ice and a cute acrylic wine glass in our team colors!

Danielle: I love a cold beer on game day, so I’ll pack some for me and my husband, plus a fun bottle opener, personalized YETI cups, and some waters!
