We confess to a bit of a fashion crush on Brooke Webb. One of Nashville’s best-known style stars, this financial services professional and mother of two rocks her dreamy yet pulled-together look on KBStyled, a blog beloved all over the South and beyond. (And oh, that hair!)

Here, Brooke flawlessly demonstrates two ways to wear our Belle Detachable Faux Fur Collar Coat: one dressed up and the other cool and casual.

Tell us about the first, dressier look you styled.

The Frannie Dress is a beautiful option for so many different occasions, from Valentine’s Day to weddings. Since we are in the winter months, a warm coat is a must (even in Nashville!), and the Belle Coat in black layers perfectly. The Red Velvet Earrings offer an additional touch of glam.

For a more casual look, Brooke pairs our Belle Detachable Faux Fur Collar Coat with our Printed Dogwood Sweater, Tootsie Jean, Erickson Beamon for Draper James Statement Stud Pearl Earrings, and Totes Y’all Vanderbilt Tote.  “We did this shoot right outside of the Draper James store in the 12 South area of Nashville,” Brooke says. “Several passersby complimented what I was wearing.”

How about the second, more casual look?

What I love about this sweater is that you can wear it dressed down with denim as I’ve done, or you can easily polish it up with a pair of slacks or a beautiful pencil skirt! (Leave the detachable collar on for a more dramatic preppy look or remove it for a simple, yet still sophisticated look.)

The tote keeps things easy, while the pearl earrings bring out the Southerner in me! Just because you are wearing a sweater, don’t forget to throw on your coat for those cool days. I like how the black in the coat pairs back to the black in the sweater.

The coat looks kind of dressy. . .  How did you make it work both ways?

A slim wool coat really does work for almost everything. Because I love faux fur, I decided to leave the detachable faux fur collar on for both of my looks, but you can always remove it if you wish to give your look an even more laid-back feel.
