DJ Reads: Our Very Own Book Picks
Reese is a proud bookworn—so perhaps its no surprise that she has always wanted to offer books as part of the Draper James assortment.
At one of the Draper James team’s first meetings, she even gave everyone in the group a copy of The Southerner’s Handbook, a collection of Southern-themed essays curated by the editors at Garden & Gun magazine. The book set the tone for our Draper James book selection and continues to be one of our bestsellers on our website and in our Nashville shop.
All of our books make beautiful gifts and offer a glimpse into a life well-lived. The Southerner’s Handbook, The Southerner’s Cookbook (also from the editors at Garden & Gun), Foster’s Market Favorites (recipes from the soulful Durham, NC cafe), and Screen Doors and Sweet Tea (another beautiful ode to Southern cuisine) are love letters to the South. Modern Manners, Monograms for the Home, and Brave Enough (a collection of quotes by Wild author Cheryl Strayed) inspire with grace, elegance, and meaning.
Check out our Draper James book selection and get cooking, decorating, thinking, and of course, reading.
